Clear Creek Recreation Area, Alabama

Another short-ish post today for our short-ish 4-night stay at Clear Creek Recreation Area.

As usual, our drive to our next destination was uneventful. That is a good thing! While misadventures make for more interesting blog posts, they are not always fun to live through.

A nice, pleasantly scenic and uneventful travel day

In case you need a dinosaur family for your front yard--we know a place where you can get one!

The campground was really nice--so many of the campsites were right on the lake, and many of them had paths down to the shore. We enjoyed kicking back, taking walks and riding our bikes on the bike trail and park roads.

A significant portion of the time at this location was spent with us venturing into the beginning stages of "The Conversation"--the fateful words that once uttered, begin to change the course of things to come. Up until recently, we really haven't given much thought to how long we would continue our traveling lifestyle. But now, those thoughts are creeping into our minds and are starting to coalesce into the question: How much longer do we want to travel full time? No hard decisions were arrived at, but we are suspecting that perhaps this might be the last year of full-time RV travel. We shall see!
