Colonel Denning State Park, Pennsylvania

May 15, 2024

This is going to be a fairly short post because our camping spot these past few days were in a small, out-of-the-way state park in southern Pennsylvania not really near anything . After the busy-ness of the Washington metro area, it was nice to have some down time.

As usual, our travel day weather was exceptional.

Also as usual (at least of late), we had more rainy weather than not during our stay. We got all our exploring of the little state park done on the afternoon we arrived.

A pleasant site that was not too awful to back into

Take a look around from my view!

There was about an hour on Tuesday that wasn't raining, so we went in search of the nature center that we saw a sign for the previous day. Unfortunately, it was boarded up, and it looked like it hadn't been in use for quite some time.

It rained pretty much from that point on until it was time to leave.

And that's all she wrote!
