The French doors are delayed . . . . .

We were supposed to have our French doors by now . . . but alas - Home Depot lost them. Yes - that is their official answer - they don't know where they are - yup - no idea. So they gave 20% off the price and 50% off delivery and just re-placed the order. So now late August is the expected delivery.
Couple of items finished up - cut a piece of plastic to double insulate the sky light and mounted it up in the trim piece.
The plastic is held in with pins from the side (through the trim piece). This came out better than expected - and adds a lot of light to the back of the camper.
The refrigerator has sold, so we are ready to get and install the new refrigerator (which should be in next week). Also installed some screens on the vents in the back of the refrigerator opening.
The current plan with the new refrigerator is to build up the floor and put a drawer under the refrigerator. There is a gas line sticking out of the floor that needs to be removed, but otherwise the width of the refrigerator should fit the opening.
Still waiting on a buyer for the stove - once someone buys it we will move forward with new stove. Also the rest of the slide area gets re-done along with a new window in the slide (putting a hole in the side of the camper should be exciting!).
We also finished framing in the outline of the wall for the french door. We ended up cutting the 2x4's down to 2x3's (really 1.5x2.5) and using that so we would save weight and depth. We also anchored the new wall to the metal frame of the door with wood, angle irons, and pop rivets (thanks Deda for the ancient pop-rivet tool).
And I think that takes care of updates on the camper itself.
We are now thinking that we will use plastic Adirondack chairs with cushions for the deck along with some little plastic folding tables. We had thought of a lot of other options, but nothing seems as comfortable, light weight and easy as this current option - but plenty of time to change our minds!
